Preacher Lawson began performing stand-up as a teenager and developed his comedy career in Orlando. His combination of rapid-fire storytelling, physical comedy, expressive characters, and high-energy delivery quickly distinguished him on the national stage.
He won the Funniest Comedian in Florida competition and the Seattle International Comedy Competition before becoming a top-ten finalist on NBC’s America’s Got Talent. He later returned for America’s Got Talent: The Champions, finishing among the top five.
